Join us on another unforgettable chapter of our South America road trip as we explore two of Peru’s most fascinating destinations: the spectacular sand dunes of Huacachina and the mysterious Nazca Lines! 🇵🇪🌎
We begin in Ica with an exciting dune buggy adventure through the giant desert dunes of Huacachina, including steep climbs, crazy drops and sandboarding. From there, we continue south along one of the most spectacular sections of the Panamericana towards Nazca.
Along the way, we discover the ancient geoglyphs around Palpa and Nazca, visit several viewpoints, explore the legacy of Maria Reiche, and see some of the most famous Nazca figures — including the giant cat, the hands and the tree.
But our journey doesn't stop there. The following day, we head deep into the desert to explore Cahuachi, the enormous ceremonial center of the ancient Nazca civilization, before visiting the Acueductos de Ocongalla and the Museo Antonini in Nazca.
And the best part? We experience many of these incredible places without the crowds and without taking a flight over the Nazca Lines.
